What do I need to access mundu Speak?
To use mundu Speak, you need:

Desktop version: Windows XP, Windows 2000 Professional / Server and Windows Vista
Mobile version: Palm OS 5.2 and above, Windows Mobile 5.0 / 6.0 for Pocket PC
- A GPRS / CDMA / WiFi / Broadband or Dial-up connection to the Internet

What are the different platforms that mundu Speak supports?
The Desktop version of mundu Speak is supported on Windows XP, Windows 2000 Professional / Server and Windows Vista. We also have a Touch-screen based version for mobile devices based on Palm OS 5.2 and above, and Windows Mobile 5.0 / 6.0 for Pocket PC.

What is the subscription cost for mundu Speak?
mundu Speak is available for a monthly subscription of USD 1. You can subscribe to a minimum of three months.

I would like to try the application before I purchase. Can I do so?
Yes, we encourage users to try the application before they make a purchase decision. mundu Speak is available for a trial period of 5 days. Also, your Speak account is credited with $0.5 to try outgoing calls.

Why do I need to buy credits for mundu Speak?
mundu Speak allows you to call another mundu Speak user and receive incoming calls without any credits. However, you will need to charge your account if you would want to make an outgoing call.

How do I re-charge my credits?
Login to your account on http://speak.mundu.com and click "buy credit"; Agree to the EULA and choose a credit pack to recharge your account. The credits are available at denominations of USD 10, 20, 30.
On payment, your account will be automatically credited with the amount.

How do I renew my subscription for mundu Speak?
Login to your account on http://speak.mundu.com and click "Subscribe"; Agree to the EULA and choose the period and credits to recharge your account. The minimum period of subscription is 3 months. Alternatively, you can renew the subscription from within the mundu Speak client.

Can I use my existing mundu Radio account with mundu Speak?
Yes, you can use your existing mundu accounts with Speak.

Can I use mundu Speak on multiple devices?
Yes, you can use mundu Speak on multiple devices. However, you will be able to use it on only one device at any point of time.

How do I pay for mundu Speak using paypal?
The current payment mechanism allows you to pay through credit card only.

The website mentions that I will receive a credit of USD 0.5 on activation of trial. But my account shows NIL balance, why is that so?
After activation of the account, you need to login to your account on the website and click "trial" to get the USD 0.5 credited to your account.

I haven’t received the email for activating my mundu Speak account; what do I need to do?
The email with the activation link is sent immediately on registration. In case you haven’t received it, please check the contents of your "junk" or "spam" folder. In the event of not finding it, you can write to us at speaksupport@mundu.com with the email ID used for registration.

What all countries can I call using mundu Speak?
mundu Speak allows you to call to any country. There are no geographic limitations. Please refer http://speak.mundu.com/ for tariffs to various places.

Why is my mundu Speak account associated with a numeric ID?
Each mundu Speak account is assigned a unique numeric ID. It acts as the telephone number for your VOIP calls. You can receive phone calls on this number.

How do I change my password?
Login to your account on the website. The Dashboard section allows you to View / Edit your profile, and set the password of your choice.

How do I check my bills?
You can login to your mundu Speak account on the website. The "My Account" section will have all the details regarding your account like the charges applicable on each call, balance credit etc.

How can I view my balance credit in mundu Speak?
The balance credit in your mundu Speak account is available in the "My Account" section on your website, and also on the Speak client.

You can call a mundu Speak contact by dialing the numeric ID associated with that account.

How much will it cost to call a mundu Speak contact?
Calls from one mundu Speak user to another is absolutely free of charge. However there may be applicable Internet charges from your service provider for the data transfer.

While making a call from mundu Speak to a mobile / Landline number, do I need to pre-fix any code?
While dialing a number, prefix the country code followed by the area code to the number.
For instance, to call a landline number 26844328 in Bangalore, India; you need to dial 918026844328 (country code – 91, area code - 80).

What are the charges applicable to call a mobile / Landline number?
There are various tariffs based on the country you wish to call, Please refer http://speak.mundu.com for tariffs to various places.

What number will people see when they receive a call from mundu Speak?
The mundu Speak numeric ID is displayed. But then there are a few times when it gets displayed as Unknown. The behavior is dependent on the Service Provider as some ISP's don't honor the Caller ID for VOIP calls.

Can I receive calls from a Landline / mobile number to my mundu numeric ID?
Yes, users can call the access lines specified below and dial the 7-digit mundu Speak numeric ID to reach the mundu Speak user.

Is there a voice mail for my mundu Speak calls?
Currently, mundu Speak does not have an option for Voice mail.

mundu Speak allows you chat with your mundu contacts. Also, it will allow you to use the following standard IM services.

Can I set a different custom status message for each service?
Yes, you can set a different status message for each service that supports custom status messages.

Can I establish a conference across services?
Yes. With its unique Cross-conferencing feature, mundu Speak allows you to invite multiple contacts on different IM services - AOL, MSN, Yahoo and mundu to conference into a single chat window. Now you can be more productive by exchanging information simultaneously with multiple co-workers, partners or contacts on these services.

Do I receive email notifications once I login to the services?
Yes. The mobile versions of mundu Speak support this feature. You will receive new email notifications on MSN, Yahoo and Google once you login to those IM services.

Can I transfer files to my buddies?
Yes. You can select a document, photo, audio or other media file from the local file/media folder of your device and share this instantly with a buddy on any IM service.

Can I receive files from my buddies?
The current implementation doesn't support receiving of files except from mundu client as most of the mobile service providers ensure that the data network is within a firewall which prevents native file transfer from working.
